Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer grant reviewer with the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona! 

We currently have openings for volunteer grant reviewers for our upcoming competitive grant processes. 

This commitment requires a minimum of 13 hours of your time. The entire process is supported by CFSA staff and includes a self-paced online training and quiz, and a self-paced grant review period with opportunities for online and in-person parallel working space.

Reviewers who complete the entire process are eligible for an optional stipend, but the stipend does require a completed W-9 with a current Social Security number.

Important Dates

• Call for Volunteer Reviewers: Open through November 15, 2026                                                   
• Self-Paced Online Training: November 16 through November  27, 2026                                                                     
• Grant Review Period: December 14, 2026 through January 15, 2027                                     
• Decision Meeting: January 26, 2027 at 5:30-7:30 on Zoom 

 Minimum Grant Reviewer requirements are: 

• Successful completion of the annual online training and quiz
•  Ability to attend the Decision Meeting 
• Access to a computer and the ability to join meetings virtually 
• Live and/or work in Southern Arizona 
• Be 18 years or older
• And be aligned with CFSA's vision of a thriving Southern Arizona region.
